Bring on the hot pots and pans!  Our Black Richlite cutting boards are stain resistant, scratch resistant, sanitary, and most importantly heat resistant.  Black Richlite is a wood composite which is compressed and then baked at a very high temperature (fun fact: this material was originally developed for the aerospace industry).  It is the most durable material that we carry and will last for years.  The surface is much harder than wood and impervious, helping to keep bacteria away.  Black Richlite can withstand temperatures up to 350°F and will not warp or melt when it comes into contact with hot surfaces. Because of these properties, this material is ideal for cutting boards used around grills.
